Paid for what it is really worth.
Electrical contractors and facilities teams end up with surplus switchgear, breakers, panels and fittings after project changes. IT refresh cycles leave servers, networking gear and computers sitting in storerooms. Both have a resale market, and what cannot be resold still contains valuable copper, aluminium and precious metals.
We value new and working equipment for resale, and scrap equipment for its material content. Where devices contain data, we agree with you beforehand how storage media will be handled. You can wipe or remove drives before collection, or we can keep them separate.
Surplus cable is covered on our cable and wire page. Generators and motors are under machinery.

Not on the list? If it is surplus and has value, ask us. We probably buy it.
What affects the price
No two lots are the same. These are the factors we look at when valuing electrical & it surplus.
| Factor | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Brand & model | Recognised brands and current models resell well. Obsolete ranges are worth less. |
| New vs. used | Boxed, unused items with labels are worth much more than removed or used equipment. |
| Working condition | Tested, working IT and electrical equipment is valued above untested lots. |
| Material content | For scrap, copper windings, busbars and circuit boards carry the value. |
| Quantity | Consistent quantities of the same model are easier to resell than mixed single items. |
What to send us
The more we know up front, the sharper the first figure. Rough numbers are fine.
- A list of items with brand, model and quantity
- Photos of nameplates and labels
- Whether equipment is new, used-working or faulty
- For IT: whether drives are wiped, removed or still installed
Four simple steps
- Inquiry: send photos, a list or quantities by the quote form, phone or email.
- Valuation: we reply with an indication, typically within 12 hours, and visit the site to confirm where needed.
- Payment: agree the figure and get paid quickly, with no drawn-out terms.
- Pickup: our team loads and removes the material anywhere in the Emirates.
Electrical & IT Surplus: common questions
What happens to data on computers and servers?
Tell us before collection whether devices still contain storage media. You can wipe or remove drives before we collect, or we can agree how they will be kept separate. Do not hand over devices with sensitive data unless the handling has been agreed.
Do you buy used switchgear and breakers?
Yes. Used switchgear and breakers from recognised manufacturers have a resale market, especially in consistent quantities. Faulty units are valued on material content.
Do you buy mixed e-waste?
Yes. Mixed electronic scrap is valued on its circuit board and metal content. Separating boards, cables and plastics gives a clearer and usually better price.
Do you buy transformers?
Yes. Working transformers are valued for resale. Scrap transformers are valued on their copper or aluminium windings and steel core. Tell us whether they are oil-filled.
