Paid for what it is really worth.
Oil and gas projects order generously, so project close-outs, cancelled wells and yard clean-ups leave large amounts of high-specification material behind. Much of it is new, certified and in demand.
We buy new surplus with mill test certificates for resale, used material that can be inspected and reused, and genuine scrap. We price carbon, alloy, stainless, duplex and corrosion-resistant grades separately, because they vary widely in value.
Carbon steel structural material is covered under ferrous scrap. High-alloy offcuts and turnings are under alloy scrap.

What affects the price
No two lots are the same. These are the factors we look at when valuing oil & gas surplus.
| Factor | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Grade & specification | Material grade (API 5L, 5CT, ASTM) and alloy content drive value more than weight. |
| Certification | MTCs and traceable heat numbers let material be resold into projects at a strong price. |
| Condition | New, used-inspected and scrap are valued very differently. Thread and bevel condition matters for tubulars. |
| Storage history | Corrosion, missing end protectors and poor storage reduce resale value. |
| Size & quantity | Common sizes in consistent quantities sell faster than odd sizes and single pieces. |
| Location | Remote sites and yards affect transport cost, especially outside the northern Emirates. |

Oil & Gas Surplus: common questions
Do you buy new surplus valves and flanges with certificates?
Yes. New surplus with MTCs is valued for resale into the market, which usually gives the best return. Send the stock list and certificates for a quicker valuation.
Do you buy used OCTG and drill pipe?
Yes. Used tubulars are valued on grade, condition and whether they can be inspected and reused. Tubulars that cannot be reused are priced as scrap for their grade.
Can you collect from sites outside Sharjah and Dubai?
Yes. We collect across the UAE, including Abu Dhabi and industrial areas further from our Sharjah base, and can arrange collections in the wider GCC. Quantity and access details help us plan transport.
Do you buy duplex, super duplex and CRA material?
Yes. These grades are worth considerably more than carbon steel, so we price them separately. Grade confirmation from markings, certificates or testing is part of the valuation.
